ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Data Steward position will design, model and implement data warehousing and perform another data implementation activities. This role will program and configure warehouses of database information and provide support to users. Additionally, this Data Steward will be responsible for inputting data, providing manual data entry, data transfer, data verification and upload data. This full-time position is located in Portland, OR. 


  • Validate functionality of all NW SharePoint sites post migration and provide both high-level and detailed advice on Design elements to inform initial plan, with an emphasis on simplicity over complexity.
  • Design and build new SharePoint sites, libraries, list, and pages as needed with manager approval.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for NW to report/correct SharePoint issues that have occurred post migration which may include: 
    • Verify migrated site content to verify data validity vs. need.
    • Validate and recommend changes to hierarchy and structure of site permissions. 
    • Validate that hyperlinks work and/or correct as needed.
    • Detail and fix any remaining data integrity issues with Metadata/fields within lists and/or site libraries.
  • Develop and redesign existing InfoPath 2013 forms using Nintex 2019.
  • Provide detailed Nintex training for supporting program staff.
  • Assist in the development of SharePoint site architecture which may include new team sites and pages. 
  • Report issues, concerns, and liaise between the org’s SharePoint team and IT Migration team for advice on resolution. 
  • Utilize pre-existing resources or modified resources to create a training plan for org employees. 
    • Provide an initial outline for proposed training plans, content, and resources to the Project Supervisor for review/approval.
      • Create a Basic SharePoint Orientation training to allow all org staff an opportunity for a basic understanding of how to use SharePoint.
      • Produce a more detailed / advanced training for heavier users to promote proper use of the sites to maintain integrity and clean file management.
    • Serve as the org’s in-house point of contact and technical subject matter resource. Collaborate with the SharePoint Support team on best practice site maintenance, effective use, and potential future updates, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Track and document tasks and timelines for each NW org sites and content development being generated by associated Tier 3 or Tier 4 organizations to update Project Supervisor on progress. 
  • Validate all NW SharePoint sites receive a full quality review within 30 days of each re-org completion with a documented punch list.
  • Develop and maintain positive communication with SharePoint team members.
  • Collaborate with NW SharePoint Project Manager to develop periodic surveys to gauge team satisfaction and gather input for additional improvements or activities. 
  • Aide in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to deliver improvements that are lasting and sustainable. 
  • Monitor alerts and site permissions to provide an analysis and assessment on the level of accessibility (too restrictive / too permissive); make recommendations as noted.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reports as requested. 
  • Provide training for other Workplace Services Technicians (NWPO) to be able to provide supplementary coverage if needed. 
  • Act as primary technical expert and coordination point of contact for assigned areas. 
  • Perform periodic self-audits of processes and training/organization milestones and provide recommendations to facilitate monitoring and achievement of goals and timelines.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Compile data for use in reports for assigned areas.
    • Analyze data to provide recommendations, and present recommendations to inform management.
    • Recommend and develop process solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Workplace Services operations, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices. 
    • Attend various NW meetings to provide understand each team’s needs, to provide project updates and stay connected to progress.


  • A bachelor's or associate degree in data management, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
  • 6 years of experience is required with a bachelor’s degree in applicable fields.
  • 8 years of experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields.
  • 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
  • 3 years of expert level SharePoint 2019 design and support experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track deliverables from multiple individuals.
  • Experience providing or facilitating trainings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint or similar.
  • Design knowledge of Nintex Forms.
  • Strong customer service skills (customer facing, phone, Outlook, and virtual).
  • Experience creating project management tracking of deliverables, timelines, and reports.
  • Experience supporting individuals with creating content (providing content templates, tips, proofreading, etc.)
  • Ability to assess training needs and propose options to address needs. 
  • Prior experience designing and delivering SharePoint training to a variety of user levels. 
  • Familiar with use of Skype
  • Experience with Visio and process maps.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
