Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Senior Implementation Manager – Electrical will provide technical and support services, and in some instances direct oversight and governance services, to Mechanical Enterprise Risk Projects, ultimately allowing the Project Manager to execute project deliverables with quality and safety, on schedule, within budget, and in the most effective manner possible. The Senior Implementation Manager is considered an authority and expert in the applicable field, with supporting field experience and knowledge of best practices and current code requirements. The role will leverage relevant skillsets to challenge the quality of execution strategies, validate project readiness, and support the successful execution of projects and/or deliverables that improve project schedules, reduce project costs, and/or reduce or eliminate project risks. The position will work directly for the CPM Manager or RMM Manager and with Project Managers of Enterprise Risk Projects. When Enterprise Risk Projects are on the refueling outage critical path, the role will be leveraged to identify ways to save critical path hours, reduce outage durations, and preclude risks from coming to fruition that could extend outage duration. This role will support the cooling tower project. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay range: $84.67 – $117.97

Responsibilities:
- Technical:
- Review key project documentation with the intent to identify, where appropriate, where strategies can be refined and/or resources can be applied to improve schedule performance, result in better quality, and/or result in more efficient use of resources
- Throughout the iterative review process, identify errors or general misconceptions that need to be corrected for successful project implementation
- Review key project documentation, including but not limited to:
- Project Schedule, including work management and project lifecycle schedules
- Implementation Means & Methods, both internal and vendor
- Risk Register
- Work Orders & Associated Documentation, including weld records, ASME Section XI Repair & Replacement Plans, field sketches, etc.
- Quality Control Inspections & Hold Points
- Test & Commissioning Plans
- Clearance Orders & Turnover Strategy
- Materials, Tools & Specialty Tooling
- Resource Load Boards, including mobilization and demobilization strategy
- Budget / Estimate, specifically surrounding assumptions, constraints, unit rates, wage rates, etc.
- Radiological Strategies, including the balance between contamination controls and consideration for work scope, decontamination strategies, etc.
- Rigging / Material Handling Plans
- Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOTs) associated with assigned scope prior to field activities and in accordance with applicable work management processes, both online and outage
- Remediate identified WOTs that lack quality, contain incorrect references, introduce error traps, and/or contain poorly written instructions
- Review, comment on, and provide improvements to testing and/or acceptance plans, including factory, shop, site, mock-up, post-modification, etc.
- Identify activities and/or processes that would benefit from a mock-up
- Provide input and guidance on making mock-ups effective and impactful
- Communicate personal Operating Experience and identify industry and/or similar Operating Experiences associated with project activities
- Develop response strategies that should be considered for each Operating Experience example
- As needed, serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope
- Governance:
- Maintain a broad knowledge base of associated codes, standards, innovative technologies, technical skillsets, such as welding, rigging, and soldering, implementation strategies, such as crew placement and turnovers, and general industry trends related to the Enterprise Risk Projects being supported
- Oversight:
- Provide timely and candid feedback to the Project Manager(s), Oversight Manager(s), and Department Management on all aspects of a project strategy, implementation plan, or any other facet that supports successful execution of a project
- As needed, provide oversight of shop or field activities, ensuring activities are progressing against the approved project strategy and providing coaching as needed to preclude changes in the plan
- As needed, serve as the designated person in charge of project activities on the shift opposite the Project Manager. Such instances may require oversight of crews greater than 50 individuals
- Support:
- Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendor resources to ensure roadblocks are identified and removed
- As needed, attend key strategy meetings in person with the Project Manager. Meetings may include, but are not limited to, Design Review Boards, Steering Committees, Integrated Implementation Briefings, High-Risk Work Plan Challenge Meetings, Project Readiness/Challenge Meetings, Schedule Development Meetings, Risk Management Meetings, and others as assigned

Requirements:
- Advanced (graduate) degree in a related field of study or business and 10 years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment; or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or business and 12 years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment; or
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university and 14 years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment; or
- High school diploma/GED and 16 years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment
- Experience with production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power plant
- Experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant
- Skilled in Enterprise Management Software, such as Asset Suite, SAP, etc.
- Strong familiarity with logic-driven schedules generated by Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements as they relate to maintenance and field work activities
- Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods
- Knowledge of cost-effective work execution methodologies
- Knowledge of procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced computer skills
